Thank you for choosing Bella Montagna Winery. We look forward to hosting you for an intimate, seated tasting on our private hillside property, where small-lot wines are served by one of the owners. We’re excited to share our wines with you.
Below are a few important details to review in advance to help make your arrival day smooth, relaxed, and enjoyable.
Your Guests
Please make sure to pass this email along to anyone in your party who may be driving separately.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances may change, and we do our best to be as flexible as possible. Due to limited seating, we require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Tastings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding.
The Property
Bella Montagna is a private residence, not a commercial site. We kindly ask that you respect the property as if it were your own. Guests will be seated in a designated tasting area, and we ask that you do not wander to other areas of the property. With the exception of the restroom adjacent to the parking area, please do not open any building doors on the property. All tastings and events are held outdoors. In the event of rain, we do have a covered area, though we recommend dressing warmly during the winter months.
Your Serving Staff
We offer a personal, intimate tasting experience. You will be served small-lot wines by one of the owners, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Reservations & Timing
Please arrive on time — neither early nor late. Tastings typically last 60–90 minutes, and we kindly ask that you keep your visit within this timeframe to accommodate guests scheduled after you.
Weather
All tastings are outdoors. A covered area is available in case of rain, but please check the weather in advance and dress accordingly.
Arriving at the Property
We are located at 3786 Quimby Road in San Jose. As you ascend Quimby Road, you will reach a four-way stop at Quimby / Murillo / Guadwara. Continue up Quimby for approximately one-third of a mile. You will pass the vineyard on the right, and just around the bend you will see a sign for Bella Montagna.
If the gate is closed (we typically keep it closed to keep deer out), please ring the intercom and we will let you in.
To respect the privacy and safety of our guests, please arrive on time so the previous party can depart. If you arrive early, you may need to wait before parking.
If you have wine to pick up, please arrange this in advance with Victor by emailing info@bellamontagna.net. If you encounter any issues upon arrival,
please call 408-421-7767.
Food
Small snacks are welcome. Please keep your tasting area clean for the next guests. You are responsible for taking any waste with you for disposal, as we only have residential trash bins. We are happy to recycle your bottles on-site.
Parking
Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. At the initial landing, there is space for six vehicles, each marked with an orange cone. Please pull forward and center your vehicle on an open cone. Additional parking is available via tandem or double parking, and if needed, you may continue up the driveway to the left for overflow parking.
